Sometimes it’s hard to let go, to say goodbye and leave the past behind. As we prepare to say goodbye to The Lutheran Church of the Messiah, we are going to spend two weeks dwelling in the hope and promises of scripture…and maybe a few good song lyrics, too. Like Semi Sonic sang in Closing Time, “every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.”
Celebrating Messiah Next Sunday
Sunday, February 23 from 11:00am-1:30pm
We want to take time to honor, celebrate, and remember the legacy of The Lutheran Church of the Messiah as we prepare to turn the page and officially launch The Common Table in April. Join us NEXT SUNDAY for a special worship gathering, lunch, and celebration. Let us know if you're able to bring a side dish to share by signing up on the bulletin board in the hallway.
Ash Wednesday Worship
Wednesday, February 26 at noon and 7:00pm We’ll gather to mark the beginning of the season of Lent as we prepare our hearts and minds to journey through unknown darkness toward the light and hope of Easter. Join us as we worship and reflect.
New Worship Time!
We are moving our worship gathering to 10:00am starting March 1. We are making this change to better engage families with Sunday afternoon activities and open up the possibility for post worship learning and community opportunities.
Lent Table Groups
Meeting weekly, March 1-April 5
Part of the mission of The Common Table is to gather people around tables and the season of Lent is a great time to do just that. We have three options to connect in community and grow spiritually - all while meeting around tables. Sign-up here,on our bulletin board, or by filling out the form in your bulletin and placing it in the basket at the front entrance.
Share the Love
Help us be intentional about celebrating the ways people are sharing wholeness and joy around The Common Table! When you notice someone doing something awesome share the love by writing it down and posting it on the bulletin board on Sunday or emailing us!
